at least green isn't wasting time this season...ugh. btw, is it just me or is ABC HD really crappy, i'm with comcast.
When are the Texans going to put in the first defensive team, because the guys on that last series look horrible?
If you're watching on KTRK in Houston, it isn't being broadcast in true HD. That's probably why it doesn't look that great. But I have seen Comcast's HD before and it is pretty poor.
I know one guy that won't be on Denver's 53 man roster: #74, Ryan "Wrestler" Harris. He might try WWE.
A couple of things i've noticed so far: Is there anything anderson can't catch? To steal a line from JVG, the guy is a ball of energy. =) The Biscuit and gravy breakfast from Jack in the box does not look yummy. On offense, It almost feels like we're missing an all pro in the line up, and i'm not a huge fan of taylor running the ball. =(
That town is my "get away" when I need to eat something good or watch a movie. Sad thing is, I've only lived in Nac for like 3 weeks or so. The land is beautiful up here, don't know too much about Nac yet.
One of the big disappointments to me, last year, was that the Texans seemed to settle for a LOT of field goals. It helped us get some wins, but truly set us apart from better teams who scored more touchdowns. We barely won this one. Sure, it's better than losing, but getting four FG's and only one TD doesn't build my confidence.
The problem, though, is the word "seem." What happens is that you remember when a team -- especially when it's your team -- settles for FGs, and make it into more than it is. In reality, the exact opposite is true -- the Texans had the fourth-best red zone TD percentage of any team in the NFL last season. http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFL+Statistics/Inside+the+Red+Zone/2007/finalredzn.htm What separates the Texans from the elite teams isn't that they don't convert in the red zone -- they do that as well as almost anyone. What separates them is overall talent, which is reflected in the amount of chances the Texans had in the red zone. The Patriots had 72 red zone trips... the Colts had 69... Jaguars had 58... Cowboys had 56... etc. The Texans had 46. There's the issue -- moving the ball between the 20s. For what it's worth, the Texans were also in the top 10 in red zone TD percentage in 2006 as well -- so it's not a one year fluke.
i hope the texans go with wearing strictly the white pants when they wear the white tops and not those blue pants
