You say more pressing needs, but we are punting the year if Brock is the starting qb next season.

You may be right that no good qb comes out of this draft, but I feel like that has been said every year lately including this one.

    Well enough?

The half time goal line stand is good. Other than that?

Doesn't look like Bill will be back next year, he sees an incompetent franchise and wants out

We are punting the year if we don't get a RT that is competent and some LB help when Cushing is a cap casualty. You don't force a QB pick just to pick a QB, it won't really help the team.

How sad is it that we lose by 18 and actually feel good about this game?

For the first time ever, our defense actually played the Pats well enough for the most part.

It Isn't about round it's about the expectation. Again, savage was drafted as a project.

Ok, that's it, I am fine if we pick up Romo.

Every QB drafted after the second round is drafted as a project, So I guess you mean it has to be a top 2 round pick. Honestly beyond the early 2nd round is all projects.

There are NO more pressing needs than an improvement at QB. Without it, next year is a 100% waste of time, so you do whatever you have to do to try to upgrade the position, even if it means cutting/trading other pieces. If you fail, you fail (as they did this year) - you still keep trying, whether that be a FA or a draftee. Every other team can find cap space for QBs whenever they need it - there's no reason the Texans can't.

Pats played about as bad as they could play and still dominated.

Grab Rivers if he'll opt out of his no trade clause.... will need to throw some draft picks their way to get them to take Brock's last guaranteed year. There is a $1 million difference in cap hit between those two QBs.....

So you are feeling good being mediocre and enjoy those 9-7 division champs?

If you don't fix the O line, then you are wasting your time no matter who you draft at QB from this bad QB class. You could have the top pick in the draft and there wouldn't be an improvement at QB with this O line.

I don't know what I hate more....losing because of shite QB play for the umpteenth year in a row or watching the Patriots and those smug pricks in Boston win yet another playoff game.

If there was EVER a reason to stop watching the NFL, these 2 things do it for me.

God...This hands down was the best game the Texans DLine played...only to have Brock screw us over. What a terrible fate we have...to have a stud Dline only to waste it...on POS QB play. Dont know who made the call for Brock...but that alone is a fireable offense. And if this idea was from the ownership...its time that Mcnair give all the control to Bill OBrien.

9-7 is OBrien's peak with **** QBs. Much love and thanks to Crennel...But he doesnt deserve this BS. Coach up the #1 rated defense only to have the offense fck **** up.
