This was actually the first game where we played well enough to win on one side of the ball but the other was just crap
The only viable option for the Texans right now is to pick someone, but they have more pressing needs and it's an awful QB class so you wouldn't want to waste a first rounder on one this draft. Maybe in the 3rd.
The positive was that B0'B went away from his usual game plan. I'm giving him a C+ Could of got a higher grade if he had a QB who could throw down field to take chances.
No I said a serious pick if you go draft. Savage was a complete project that has barely played football. They were gambling on him not investing in hkm.
Hey look at it this way, it's just about a year ago, we did this exact same sh't to embarrass ourself in front of the national TV.
At the end of the day, the Texans D/ST stopped the run, made Brady look average, forced 3 turnovers and created 13 points, and the Texans lost 34-16. The offense, yet again, did absolutely nothing. And yet, many people will continue to blame everyone except the most important position on the field where the Texans have one of the worst players in the league. And over the next 8 months, people will come up with justification after justification to not bother trying to improve the position, and the team will just repeat the same thing the next year.
That's all I've ever said.....but we have serious reading comprehension problems in this forum quite often for whatever reason. The Texans don't have many options due to going all out for Osweiler. He has to be on the roster next season and that'll eliminate the possibility of a significant FA QB and there are more pressing needs than a late first round QB in a bad QB class, so that's not a good option either.
Texans deserve to end up never winning. Organization is simply a good show not built to win anything.
Offense and special teams let the defense down today. Defense is legit and championship level for the next 3-4 years. We can't waste it.
