Who cares about this game? It was ugly. It sucked. I was mad. I'm not anymore. A loss is a loss is a loss. Record-wise, we are still the best team in the league.

Apparently, this team needed a wake-up call. It got one and then some tonight. I would be surprised to see the Colts put up more than 14 on us. I'd also be surprised if we put up less than 30. This team should be seething mad and playing against a division rival, who is trying to make the playoffs, who has a rookie quarterback they have never faced. Oh yeah, the rookie has also been anointed as the next Great One.

If we can't get up for Sunday, that will show me more about this team than tonight's ugly loss.

We'll revisit this conversation when we see Brady in the playoffs. Hopefully we don't, but if we do, I'm sure we'll be slightly more prepared.

Better pray somehow the Pats or Broncos gets knocked out in the playoffs before we face either one. Ravens (no Elite Passing off and have Flacco lol), Steelers( Have BigBen but not really a great passing Offense and style of play..plays well for the Texans) , Bengals(Their the Bengals and inconsistent ) , Colts (Passing Offense but turnover the ball a lot).

I kind of hope that we do. I want this team to collapse because im sick and tired of Kubiak and Schaub.

We will never win anything with these guys leading the team.

this game was no bigger than the Denver or Baltimore game. it just happened to be nationally televised. this loss still doesn't change anything. Texans win out and it's the number one seed. then just hope DEN and NE play each other in the division round if we make it to the AFC championship.

LOL. Texans showed up in varsity jackets. They played like the JV team. So true.

This team is different now. They just aren't playing the same way as the team that beat Denver. That being said, I would still rather face Manning than Brady. Manning still can be frustrated and forced into a bad game. It seems like that doesnt every happen to Brady

Why are you glad? 2 months ago, they could have beaten those teams, but not any more

NE Patriots = the guy that does good during the semester but fails the finals.
NY Giants = the guy that scrapes by during the semester but aces the finals.

    BAM may happen again lol.

I'm sorry, but I'm hoping our playoff schedule is as follows: vs. Denver, vs. Patriots, vs. Giants.

I'm not satisfied with, "as long as we can avoid the good QBs, we should win". This is the NFL, I want to play the good teams and beat them.

No one drinks it anywhere! :)

Classic Houston chokejob tonight. This town sucks ass for sports. I made a conscious decision not to be a Texans fan years ago, and I've never regretted it. The Oilers taught me that there are some kind of Native American spirits haunting this place. I already have to suffer through the bull**** the Rockets and Cougars put me through, I don't need to give a **** about the Rosencopters of the world. The Astros are such a joke that they don't even count.

I'm sure this is painful as hell for a lot of you die-hards, but it's actually a blessing in disguise. The Super Bowl illusion has been shattered, saving you some degree of disappointment when the team inevitably craters pathetically in the playoffs. It's a local tradition, so just accept it and change the channel when it happens. It's not worth the grief! :)

This game, the GB game and the past few games have the Texans looking suspect. It's not the end of the world but until they can play decent against an elite QB, they deserve to be called "pretenders". It is what it is.

Bleh already beat Broncos... can beat them again, especially at home. New England would be tough, but would probably have them at home and Texans did not need the game tonight as bad as NE.

You go by how the team was talking going into the games and these were they two that they had circled on the calenders. Both were called "the biggest game in franchise history" by someone at some point.

The Denver game looks bigger in retrospect than it did at the time because people were still feeling Peyton out and Denver was only 8-8 year. They were expected to be better with Peyton but I don't think people though they were going to be as good as they've been of late.

They're not winning a SB as long as Kubiak and Schaub are here. The reason fans should root for the team to collapse is because that may be the only chance we have that McNair will make some changes. If we play well enough to make the AFC championship game and get beat then McNair may keep Kubes.

Once again, we'll revisit this conversation if/when we play Brady in the playoffs. I'm fine with playing them. Never said I wasn't. If we can't beat any given team, we don't deserve the trophy.

I guarantee that if we play them in the playoffs, the score will be a lot closer.
