I wonder how the Boston fans will be. I actually had titans fans wishing our team well on the playoff run when I went to LP field as the game was near over. No silly interaction when I wore my Texans gear besides over-hearing a blond college age girl ask her BF why was there Texans fans here while pointing at me. ..lol ..she was a looker, but didn't seem to be even into the titans as she kept texting during the game (they left by halftime of course)...but it is very cool when you see other fans in the Texans gear. Several conversations with people I didn't even know, but we all left smiling :)

I was so mad i wasnt able to go...and had to sell my tickets...

Anyways...expect this to be a high scoring game, but both Schaub and Brady are gonna be rattled...

We all know that Brady is going to throw the ball...but we cant let them beat us on the ground...The Texans run defense needs to be ready at all times...

If the Patriots win...its because we couldnt stop them on the ground...
If the Texans win...its because we dominated time of possession...just like Manning...the way to neutralize Brady is to keep the ball away from him...

Hope the Texans can make a statement:
    27-24 Texans shock the nation

Joseph needs to be on his "A" game and the linebackers need to get up to speed.

I expect our offense to put up 30+ points, so our defense doesn't need to completely shut them down.

I don't think the Texans winning would be a shock, exactly.

everyone is picking the Patriots to embrass us on national tv...after the GB debacle..they do have a reason...but beating the Patriots at Foxboro is a huge deal...

It is going to be a Tit for Tat game. A boxing match, a battle, but the Texans will pull it out with big days from Watt and Captain America (Andre Johnson). Foster will rack up a 100 yard day and Daniel Manning is going to pick off Brady twice.

    36 TEXANS
    29 Patriots

Plays in to our hands. The more physical teams win those types of games.

Mercilus starting makes me feel sooo much better than Reed. While Brooks is a solid LB hes not the talent/pass rusher Mercilus is.

Been saying it for quite sometime, Whitney needs to be the permanent OLB opposite Barwin. We cant have 2 OLB that consistently gets little to no pressure on the QB in Connor and Brooks. If Barwin leaves via FA then perhaps move Brooks to that side, but the defense is another level better when Mercilus is roaming out there. Our lesser version of Clay Matthews

I hope the Texans don't overlook this game with the big divisional contest against the Colts coming up the following week.

We are the team of Texas (F the Cowboys). So I don't mind it at all!

    Disagree.

Mercilus should replace Barwin at WOLB, not Reed at SOLB. Barwin and Mercilus aren't as versatile as Reed is. Your SOLB has to be able to do more than just auto-blitz; he's the one the one with run responsibility and occasional TE coverage.

They switched Barwin to SOLB when Reed went down.

And I like Mercilus, but let's not jump the gun putting him and Matthews in the same sentence just yet.

With Joseph, I'll give the Texans a fighting chance.

Without Joseph, New England should have an easy time moving up and down the field. We can't win a shootout against the Patriots, unfortunately.

I haven't been watching many Patriots game this year.

How is their new cornerback they got right before the trade deadline?

Is the patriots' secondary still shaky?
