How does being #6 in yardage and not even in the top 20 in TDs equate to being the #1 receiver in the NFL? Perhaps this is part of your "forget reality, just pretend the Texans are improving" fantasy?
AJ's numbers would be stratospheric if we had a REAL QB! AJ could be and should be the best in the NFL. Look at his yds per catch. Chad Johnson for the Bengals benefits from Carson Palmer. That's the point I'm making. If AJ say had Brees, I bet he would push 2000 receiving yds this year and close to 20 yd average per catch. Sorry dude, it is what it is!
Wow... this squad bad... I, too am beginning to think last year's team was better. as a poster mentioned earlier.
92 receptions (he would have 120 right now, had he not dropped a few here and there that were damn easy even for me), Major, and over 1000 yards total for the season. Damn. F*ck. Look at Carr, not tackling Hobbs on that kick off return for a touchdown.
I'm not looking too far. you're wrong according to steve. according to steve he was surprised to be traded, according to steve he thought he and jeff made some inroads towards the end. the assertion he knew he was on his way out like carr knowing is wrong, according to steve.
Ron "1 yard" Dayne is starting to look pretty solid. He shouldn't be a starter but may be a good goal line/short yard back next year if re-signed. Saleem and Hodgdon are horrible. Carr is bad. Bring in Quinton Porter. Dude is fast and has an arm.
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT Tom Brady 11/17 89 5.2 2 0 C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT David Carr 10/17 95 5.6 0 2 Swoly: "see, carr is completing basically the same number of passes as brady, but for MORE yards! the Texans defense just can't stop the patriots! " rest of clutchfans bbs members: "dude, did you even look at the last two columns of that box score?"
What's your point? You said he's the #1 receiver in the NFL. Others have more yards and more TDs. How does that make him #1? And you use the fact he's dropped 28 easy passes (according to your numbers) as evidence that he's the best the NFL has? What?
At every postion but the O-Line and RB. Sharper was their best player the first three years and they cut him. Didn't make much sense to me.
Swoly, you cant see the obvious? Throw someone, anyone else even Goofy behind center and AJ if he gets balls thrown to where he's heading instead of where he's at and presto, chango ... AJ would have more TDs, more catches, and more yds per catch. C'mon dude snap out of it. Put down the rose colored glasses and see what really is, IS! Sorry to burst your bubble!
