unfortunately, we're finally seeing how the 3-4 is supposed to work.

 

Seriously. Carr will not prove anything to anyone the rest of this season. 5 years of futility will not get erased with 3 "Montana-like" games (and no one is saying that he will have a Montana-like game). This season is lost already. We should evaluate all of our talent in the long-term interest of this team. NE is a top-notch team. Let's see how Van Pelt does against this defense. Who knows? Bradlee Van Pelt might have something to offer. Give him a shot!

i'm in austin and following this game through this thread. before the game started, i was happy that i was getting to watch the titans/VY and not the Texannes getting smashed by the pats. however, y'all are starting to piss me off at this point. i'm as much a fan of trainwrecks/rubbernecking as i am football. now i'm completely upset that i can't see this "game."

WOW. Look at all those points CARR has given up on Defense to the Patriots... man, CARR hasn't tackled Brady once... or covered Gaffney... or stopped Dillon... CARR sucks...

 

One thing that we are not thinking about is the fact that this team is so bad that no free agents will want to play here. We are going to have to pay them more than any other team because we are so bad. We have nothing to offer at this point other than money.

 

Carr barely misses the INT hat trick for the half.

 

When the Patriots have to go only 30 yards to score on EVERY POSSESSION, I'll cut the defense some slack.

 

They were saying stuff we already know about Carr. Saying stuff like "that last throw really concern me, it was a simple slant throw but he didn't connect." "Carr doesn't have any help, but leaders find a way to win, and I don't think Carr has that." "Carr has really regressed." There was more, but I can't remember them all.

But his bad deciscions and interceptions are not giving the defense time to even rest before coming right back on the field. I have one that supported Carr all through the years saying he need more help, this and that. He still has a make shift line in front of him but those interceptions are both on him. They consquently resulted in scores.
