Make Carolina regret choosing Bryce Young instead of CJ Stroud.

No. Denial is better than regret.

Bless their little hearts, They actually think they have a chance against the Texans because they never updated their Madden games programmed after last season. And the bookies are also in for a HUGE HIT because they won't open their eyes and realize Houston is a different club now.

This should be a game that has CJ licking his chops. His receiving corp is back and have all clicked at some point. The running game is facing a porous defense so those stops at the LOS should go for gains.

I''m going out on a limb and calling for a 40+ point explosion for the Texans.

    Interesting idea for a thread...

We have a pretty damn good yet amateur idea how MLB and NBA metrics are used, we know very little how they are by NFL teams.

    Discuss amongst yourselves.

I haven't seen a lot of info on injury reports leading up to this Sunday. Who all will we have back? Tank? Stingley? How close is the OL to being fully healthy? The injuries have been so crazy so far this season it would be nice if we managed to weather the worst of that going 3-3 and can finish the rest of the season out relatively healthy.

It's actually more precise than that. 1st rounder is 5 years and after that it is 4 years. After that they become FAs and get what they want at market rates. You judge a draft choice by what they provide under their rookie contract. If they have to be cut before that, they were a bad choice.

Though the concept of excess value is usually reserved for baseball trade values, it works for all personnel contracts.

Texans OC Bobby Slowik on the running game: "We really believe in the running back by committee. We want to make sure everybody touches the ball."

Per Next Gen #Texans Steven Nelson ranks 14th in lowest passer rating when targeted(67.5) among CBs. 1st in tight window% (37.9). T-1st in INTs (3). 15th in hawk rate(17.2%). He's doing this while having the 7th lowest target rate(14.6%).

I hope Singletary gets more carries than Mr. 2.9 yds per carry Pierce on Sunday.
