i don't even like it when i see a peyton manning throw it that many times. kind of a miracle that no more mistakes where made, since the defense knew what was coming.
key play was that hold on the int we had. olson was also grabbing jersey to get free.

it's also frustrating how opposite offenses keep drilling us with highschool plays on 3rd and long. knock them the f' out so they won't run it again.

Maybe the Saints would be more willing to deal Brees now at 0-2.

I completely agree with you, our inability to run the damn ball has made us one dimensional and we forced Mallett to make way too many decisions through the air.

Mallett when he looks at the game film will see that he missed way too much stuff in today's game. One play off the top of my head was when he shifted left in the pocket instead of going right and wouldve had a crossing route wide open with green in front...

He is a young kid and will get more chances, but the offense as a whole really put a ton of pressure on Mallett to deliver. BOB, the OLine and the RB's have to take a lot of the blame. They cant run the damn ball. I suspect that Arian is going to have similar issues if he decides to return next week.

If you actually watched the game, you will know he looks horrible and probably a worse QB now than Mallett.

It's gonna be a long season folks.

    We don't have a QB.

11-58-1 is pretty brutal. The Texans just have got to get more from their O line and RB's to where Mallett doesn't have to pass that much.....and his receivers need to catch the damn ball.

Hell even Tom Brady and Drew Brees are 0-4 in games they pass that much.

Well, here are some exciting news.

Both the Bucs And the Saints are absolutely trash, especially the Saints, probably the worse defense in the league and a complete joke.

The Texans will play them both at home and also got 49ers at home too, then probably will take 3 out of 4 against the Titans and Jacs.

So here you go, another 6-10 season and stucking at 9-10 drafting spot and pray someone other than Rick Smith will throw a dart at the board to get our next JJ Watt.

It will be also very difficult not to win 5 at least.

Or that defenses are keying in on the running game because they aren't terribly worried about the QB beating them.

So, I was in a Nevada casino the other day and saw the Texans at 75-1 to win it all. I put a small amount on the Texans and still think its a good bet. If Foster comes back healthy this will be a different team. You people need to stop being so negative.

While Mallett was extremely inaccurate at times, our receivers dropped at least 4-5 balls today. Most of them were lower than you'd prefer, but they were definitely catchable.

As I said in another thread, I was overall happy with Mallett's performance all things considered. I'd rather overthrow a receiver (Mallett) than underthrow (Hoyer).

I think things will look radically different with Foster, Duane Brown, and XSF healthy. There's still time to turn things around, but it has to start immediately.

5 of the Texans next 6 should be winnable in that they are against fairly weak teams and if the Colts don't start looking better that could be 6 of 6. The season isn't over yet, but the margin for error is incredibly small now.

I agree, 5-7 games. Maybe a game we win by Watt or When Foster comes back. Then the rest of those wins against other bad teams.

Hopefully we can grab a franchise QB or ILB because we desperately need those things.

We need a ton of depth on Oline too but LT is locked down by Brown and you don't waste 1st round picks on interior linemen.
