    He's putting heat... that's for sure.

    But its not like these guys are wide open... he's firing the ball within traffic/zones, thus he's ensuring that the defense will not read/pick it off in time.

    Mallet would be looking like Tom Brady out there if our receivers could catch the balls that hit them right on the hands

    Yeah not alot of touch, this is what happens when Mallett isnt your dedicated starter where the recievers practice catching bullets.

    I know one Texans player who never drops anything from the jugs. (one-handed, no less).

    mallet contrary to what they say about him, is no dumb dumb. he can read the defenses very well. receivers have to make those catches, but i'm guessing it's a whole new ball they have to adjust with mallet throwing, considering most of 1st team receivers got comfy with hoyer's balls.

    and the receivers need to adjust to Mallett...not the other way around. They better start adjusting to his rapid fire bullets!
