Faggins was there... but it was Smith who actually tipped the ball up, and made the adjustment to catch it. The guy is basically doing whatever he wants out there as long as he'll be single-teamed. If anything, it was a terrrible throw by Delhome... a good DB would have at least attempted to pick that off.
it is because the texans have this dumb philosophy, where the cornerbacks defend their Left or Right side of the field, regardless the matchup.
Faggins was defending the far side when Smith made his first catch and then defended the near side on Delomme's incompletion that was also aimed at Smith.
