Agreed, the O line simply has to be better. I was living in Fort Huachuca at the time where it snowed damn near every night, to the point where I was sick and tired of it. I head back to Houston for Christmas thinking that at least I'm done with snow.....and it snows.
Funny how he looked so much better with other quarterbacks. Guys are covered every week but other quarterbacks seem to find a way to get the ball to them. They don't just look for wide open guys every single play. Waiting for someone to stop and make a catch is becoming the Texans' big play. Little yards, typical boring offense, with a play just waiting to be intercepted. How about throwing ahead of a receiver going long for a change?????????? blah blah blah, run, throw to tight end, run. Why on earth do our guys stop and wait for a catch in front of the marker? Stupid ugly football.
This team has gotten worse and worse every game since the bye week. O'Brien has tied his fate to Osweiler. Think they'll both be cut. I don't know if I can stand another season like this.
LOL, you seriously think that was "enough time"? I guess this is a basketball blog after all, I shouldn't expect too much.
Just let Hopkins go to another team and put up 75+ catches 1000+ yards and 10+ TD's again with a better qb / organization
He'd have to play better for that to happen. Not many QB's will keep looking his way after he causes 5 interceptions.
That was a three step drop where the ball is supposed to come out quick. When it didn't the answer isn't to run backwards.
It is only winnable if your offense can do anything. How many times can you expect the defense to hold Rogers? We had 5 chances to at least put a couple field goals on the board. This offense play calling is making me want to scream!!! Dropped passes, fumbles. passes underthrown, passes overthrown, nothing worth cheering about as usual. I guess it can't get much worse offensively unless Brock starts throwing interceptions, so yes, we are still in this. Go Texans! LOL
Hey, the Texans could be worse. They could be the Bears or the 49ers http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ncisco-49ers-fail-complete-pass-first-quarter
Oh, you misunderstand, those were "poorly thrown" passes, those were just passes where either Nuk ran the wrong route, let the defensive player just straight up take the ball out of his hands, or he let the ball bounce off of his hands and into the hands of DB's. Those 5 were 100% Nuk's fault. No matter who the QB was, Nuk would have made those interceptions.....and good QB's would stop looking his way with as poorly as he's played this year. He's had his good moments, but he's been a liability a lot.
There was immediate pressure, causing him to run around. He tried to make something happen despite the terrible blocking, but couldn't.
It's winnable in the sense that the Texans are playing better, by a slim margin, than the packers, statically. Packers benefitted from a turnover and from a terrible call by the coach. Otherwise, the game would seem like the Texans have been in control.
