I haven't watched the Texans for several weeks until last week. We have a great running back, great and decent wide receivers, a somewhat decent offensive line, and great players on the defensive side of things.

The Texans would add 2-4 wins to their total, and probably make the playoffs, if they had a halfway decent quarterback. Every game I've watched, these guys are terrible- and in the worst category you can imagine- turnovers. Turnovers lose games, period, and everybody knows this. They desperately need a new quarterback- whether Schaub is the way he is due to injury or whatever, he's not cutting it and needs to go. I'm not even gonna get into Rosenfels- they just need a new QB- a Garcia, anybody who can just not make as many mistakes. It's sad because the rest of the team, more or less, deserves to make the playoffs.

Give Schuab a break. He hasn't played in weeks. Hopefully he comes out sharper in the 2nd half.

    Nice throw to Walter

    Schaub's TD-Int was last year with 10-8. He's 11-9 currently. Can't break mediocrity if he's barely 1:1

Calm down a little. Daniels just fumbled a for-sure TD not long ago. Even if Schaub thorws a pick, its a 14-0 lead with Schaub having 2 TD's.

Also, you've pretty much ignored their awful secondary, lack of a consistent pass rush, and inconsistent blocking against good defensive teams.

I hope so. I want nothing more for Schaub to be successful, I just have a hard time seeing it.

First of all, I'm not "uncalm" at all- second, are you going to tell me you're happy with the Texans season thus far? If so, power to you- I've been following this team since Bocelli (or lack thereof); pardon me if I get just a wee bit frustrated.

I didn't say they had other areas to work on- but, that's OK, if you think our quarterbacks are fine, cool.

What about my post said "I'm happy". I'm just trying to add a little bit of perspective to the posts that say we only need a QB to be an elite team.

Especially in a game where the QB play isn't the biggest culprit... it was the erasing of a for-sure TD due to a careless fumble.

On a happy note, Slaton is 8 yards away from 1000 on the year. Awesome pick for the Texans.

I said, "we would probably add 2-4 wins and be a PLAYOFF team if we had a halfway decent quarterback." Playoff and Elite are not the same thing.

The TD for Green Bay was almost a direct result of Schaub's interception.

Why'd they let 6 seconds tick before calling that first timeout?

And Owen Daniels fumble was the DIRECT result of taking away 7 points from our scoreboard, and a TD pass for Schaub.

Red zone turnovers are the biggest culprit. You're calling for Jeff Garcia to lead this team... I think Schaub can be better than that when healthy.

Is it wrong that I'm happy that Jared Allen was hurt by a chop block?
