Man I hope that doesn’t turn into another wasted pick. Glad he’s healthy though.

Metchie hasn't played in 18 months. ACL and Cancer. That is ALOT. He will play....but expect him to get better later in the season, as he plays more.

Seems like it’s still a big “if” he plays this season

Starting against the Ravens; that's brutal. If they look half decent, that would be something to build on. If they win, well, the entire NFL will melt down.

It's a victory if Texans never trail by 15 points and/or lose by <11 points.

O/U wins this season should be 5.5

I don’t like demeco calling plays against ravens simply because if they score a lot points people will start looking at demeco different.

They left him on the 53 instead of IR. That means they will integrate him more as the season goes on.

This would be a massive get. As another poster alluded to, why else would Dell forgo the 7/13 connection?

Nick would have to work some cap magic since Evans has a 14m cap hit.

Not sure if I was looking at the right stuff, but it looked like we had 11.2 mil free? Trade them Eric Murray and a pick? Win/win haha.

I don't think it would make sense to change the number BEFORE a trade. It's not like the number change process is a difficult or long one. I imagine if Tank changed now it was because he just wanted the other number more. For whatever reason.

Would LOVE to get Mike Evans but would rather get Tee Higgins next year

But there is a lot of IFs or Buts in getting Higgins

So if we can get Evans for sure then I’m all for it

Tee Higgins is the one for me. Hopefully that isn’t a pipe dream but Chase could get close to (if not) $30M/yr and Burrow will also need to be extended. He’ll probably get $60M/yr. That’s a lot for only two players. That could leave Higgins out. He’ll be 25 to start the 2024 season and could spend the next 6-7 years with Stroud and Dell.

Bowers or Rome Odunze/Keon Coleman/Malik Nabers and Stroud has weapons

I want to believe in Metchie but I’m not sure the coaching staff think he’s anywhere near where he needs to be.

Nico is also one I thought would take a huge step. Maybe this is the year.

I’d rather spend money on improving the whole team and use first round pick next year on receiver. Metchie should be physically ready by next year, plus Tank Dell could be something as well.

Tee Higgins would be the best outcome and very attainable with the Mugatu agent connection. Which is why one has to appreciate Nick never taking anything personal and Mugatu doing a favor for Stroud. Remember since Higgins was a 2nd round pick, Bengals can't enforce the 5th year option. It's a very realistic scenario H to the H.
