F'em, I didn't choose to renew and I've been a season ticket holder since 2003. I've see this play before.

Offensive game plan against the Ravens is going to be key. They have to know this OL isn't going to consistently give Stroud time. I don't know if they will be able to consistently open up running lanes for Pierce either but whatever they do needs to be quick hitting and not put Stroud at risk. At least for the first few possessions. If we can gouge the Ravens a bit on quick plays maybe they'll play a little more conservative and they can let Stroud have some longer developing routes to choose from.

So do most teams that pick QBs at the very top of the draft have a complete OL ready to protect? If so then how are they picking so high in the draft?

It's on the coaching staff to scheme around that

It's not like they don't know it too

That was the number of tickets sold. The actual number of fans who showed up was far fewer with many selling their seats to fans of the opposing team. From the article:

"When the franchise began its series of playoff runs 10 years ago, its season-ticket waiting list had more than 19,000 names. Before the 2021 season, over 12,000 people on that list passed on buying tickets. The team’s 20-season sellout streak ended. The Texans averaged over 5,000 fewer paid attendees than NRG Stadium’s 72,220 capacity last season, and the fans who actually showed up were usually far fewer."

Do the NFL have a Disabled Player Exception like the NBA?

Would love to get Dalton Risner.

When it comes to FAs, hopefully Tee Higgins is higher on the list

Doesn't it seem like the Texans always have a boatload of injured players? Might need a better conditioning program. Maybe less training season contact drills. Maybe drafting more resilient players. Something is driving this.

I would but my question is, what's the difference between Mike Evans and DeAndre Hopkins?

Texans could have had Hop for free and didnt make a move. Yet they traded away their #1 pick and they are not trying to do everything to win.

    I don't understand their philosophy

I agree should have gotten Hop. Mike might cost you a couple of 3’s. I think Nick will wait and try to trade up for Harrison or Egbuka

Why is Rome Odunze not talked about more? Of course Harrison is in a class of his own but I think Odunze is up there with Egbuka….for now.

I keep hearing his name but don’t know much about him. I’ll have to catch up on him.
