"Brian Gaine not their first choice" Packers GM first choice that was hired while in a meeting with BOB Texans are shopping "In the clearance section of Goodwill" Hard to justify paying Blackson 4M per. Ripped into Texans for dumping KJo and then turning around and bringing in Verrett for a visit.
I'd rather keep mercilus and trade clowney. Mercilus is a 10-12 sack a season pass rusher when he's not playing out of position. Besides, Mercilus will only get you a third round pick at the most, we can get a lot more for clowney. Think about it this way: Mercilus at $5 million a year is better than signing clowney for 5 years/$100 plus million.
for 3.6 mil, either he gets hurt running out of the tunnel or kills it. I would have taken the chance a la kayvon webster
Waiting for all the crazy spending to die down and then will load up on second tier players As bad as he was last year, he'd easily be an upgrade over Davenport Snapping up division opponents Patriots style lol
Eric Berry - 3 games past 2 years Jason Verrett - 5 games past 3 years (missed all of last year) Matt Kalil - Missed all of last year PFF: "Matt Kalil’s $55 million deal is shaping up to be an all-time bad signing. He earned a 63.1 overall grade in 2017 before missing all of 2018 with yet another injury. It will cost them more to cut the soon to be 30-year old tackle than to roster him in 2019, but either way, you likely don’t want him starting." Panthers released OT Matt Kalil. It's a post-June 1 designation, which creates $7.25 million in cap space. It was a necessary, expected move after Kalil missed 2018 with an unexplained knee issue. The injury washout came on the heels of a truly dreadful 2017 where Kalil's play regressed even further, and he was one of the worst tackles in the league. Kalil's 2017 signing was an abject disaster for ex-GM Dave Gettleman. The Panthers will be moving forward with Taylor Moton and Daryl Williams at tackle. Four months shy of his 30th birthday, Kalil is in danger of washing out of the league. PASS PASS PASS Texans aren't (or shouldn't be) a rehab/retirement home.
The money we don’t spend this year rolls to next year right? There may be a better crop of players next year idk lol... I honestly think changing the plays we run and getting rid of the ball quickly will make our line look better
