I may be an idiot, but I think they've done pretty well so far this offseason.

 

I'm gonna go way the hell out on a limb and say that the new OC and OL coaching staff might know what they're doing.

 

Eh I could've said the same thing before last season. In fact, isn't the OL coach someone from last season's group of coaches?

I can only hope the new OC knows what he's doing.

 

I know ultimately it won't amount to much, but I'm kind of sad they let Jon Weeks go. Feels like that dude has been our long snapper for as long as this team has been around.

This would be great. Instant upgrade to the OL.

Per PFF in 2024:

Hernandez: 2 penalties, 0 sacks allowed, 0 QB hits. 8 Total pressures allowed. Pass block grade is 74.2 (ranked #22 overall).
Ranked #33 overall for guards.

Risner: 0 penalties, 0 sacks allowed, 1 QB hit, 16 total pressures allowed. Pass block grade is 76.2 (ranked #13 overall).
Ranked #42 overall for guards.

 

At the very least they(and Caserio) have a plan. And I’m open to seeing how it plays out..

 

I wanted Risner last year as well. I liked him and Hernandez when they came out in the draft.

These two guys would give us some solid vet IOL and allow us to draft one IOL and OT to start developing.
