I honestly think thats more of a Houston being a hub for transplants... and having the youngest team in the NFL. But I agree, its annoying seeing so many non-texans colors in the seats..
Snake move by Coen to the Bucs, but power move from his personal standpoint to get what he wants from Khan. Coen has Khan by the balls now, he can negotiate more money, more guarantees, and more power. That said, I hope he fails miserably in Jacksonville.
Jamey was the ****ing man, RIP. He would've got a kick out of nrg hosting world cup games, no pun intended
But do you think he will? Coen seems like he could be a good coach, but will have to see how he does running the full operation and if how their new GM does turning over the roster with limited headspace. I think Jax is a bigger rebuild than it appears on the surface. Too much money/cap space in older mid players that they cannot really move on from for a few years. Especially in the middle of the o line and middle of defense (DT, LB, safety). Basically it will totally be the Texans division to lose in '25.
How serious of a leg fracture? Acquiring all three of Fries, Dalman and Liam Eichenberg is more than doable and helps revamp the line on a budget.
He's probably going to re-sign, he's rehabbing with the team, the colts will have up to 50 million in cap space and Fries has spoke about the support he felt from the team: https://www.colts.com/news/will-fri...-guard-pro-football-focus-2025-nfl-free-agent
Thought the injury would bring down the price heavily. Still projected to sign a 14 mil a year contract. Crack pipe dream.
Not sure. Coen was great but only for one year and the Bucs have a great offensive line, a good veteran QB, and good weapons. Slowik was great after a year too. Giving someone with only a year of success Ben Johnson level of money and power is a risk. It could blow up in their faces the same way Urban Meyer did. Who is he going to hire as GM, how is he going to fill out his staff etc. He doesn't have a lot of nfl connections and people around the league view him as a snake.
Dude was a top ten o lineman, allowed only six pressures on 153 pass-blocking snaps prior to his injury. He's going to get paid
