When comparing Tank and Diggs, their contracts expire at different times. This may at least partially explain their presence or lack of it at the facility. They are into surgeries and rehab which is different if you will not be under contract.

Tank and Pitre also have ties to the area. Maybe Diggs just preferred to do his rehab at home. I thought guys were saying he was checking in on them, etc during the season.

That being said, I don't think he's coming back. Will get more money elsewhere, but the Texans need 2 more WRs at a minimum.

He was and Diggs was also showing support for the other receivers stepping up in his absence.

Both Diggs and Tank showed up for the playoff game

    Graziano's notebook:

    ▪ I'm watching what the Texans do at wide receiver this offseason around Stroud after the Stefon Diggs acquisition didn't pan out. A lot of teams like what Buffalo did at wide receiver this season -- compiling role-player types, such as Mack Hollins, who are willing to do the blocking and the dirty work. The Texans believed they had multiple No. 1 receivers this season, but they still have at least one in Nico Collins. Now they might look to fill in around him with more targeted, role-oriented acquisitions. (Hollins, by the way, is an unrestricted free agent who could fit that kind of plan.)

    I agree. I think the team is better served by WR1, 2, & 3 rather rhan 1A, 1B, & 1C. More cost effective.

Captains Nico and Mixon have gone full Altuve in manifesting Diggs' return.
Haven't heard Ryans and Seven yet

I was looking at the receiving numbers from the 2023 and 2024 regular seasons, and I completely lost my train of thought while looking at and typing these up. I'm posting it anyway. The only thing I remember is that it's a list of receivers with at least 30 targets. In 2023, they combined for a total of 98 games, while in 2024, they had 93.

I'm kind of liking CJs low profile this off season. He's been going balls to walls for three years.
