Schultz: Source: The JK Dobbins deal with the #Broncos is for 1-year, $2.75M in base value. He has $2.5M available in reachable incentives, making the max value $5.25M _____________________ https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...troud-minicamp-practice-throwing-20339009.php •There were several notable absences from Tuesday’s minicamp. Running backs Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce, tight end Brevin Jordan, linebackers Christian Harris and Henry To’oTo’o, defensive end Denico Autry, wide receivers Braxton Berrios and Jailyn Noel, and offensive tackle Trent Brown all either worked off to the side on a different field or were in the back getting treatment during practice. •Edge rusher Danielle Hunter, safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, wide receiver Justin Watson, who all skipped the voluntary portion of OTAs, attended mandatory minicamp and were full participants •Also present was newly acquired running back Nick Chubb. Stroud joked that he initially didn’t recognize Chubb because he was so quiet. But he told him he was glad to meet him as he’s been watching him since he was a kid. He said he even got a little nervous after meeting him. •The most commonly used first-team offensive line combination from left to right included: Cam Robinson, Laken Tomlinson, Jake Andrews, Tytus Howard and Blake Fisher. On occasion, the coaching staff would sub Aireontae Ersery for Robinson at left tackle to work in with the first-team offense. The line still remains a work-in-progress. It’s still early, and there’s a long way to go before decisions are made, but Andrews may have passed incumbent Jarrett Patterson on the depth chart at starting center.
The Wiggins hype is reminding me of the hype last OTA/Mini camp with Lassiter. He definitely lived up to it. I believe Wiggins will also.
