My understanding is that the little jittery recievers always standout in 1 on 1s , like at the senior bowl. Not sure it means much
It stands out because he is faster and quicker than any of our other receivers. That could translate as long as he can reliably catch and run the correct routes.
I am very excited about our WR room, Nick did awesome. I am not sure when Tank gets back but when he does, look out
24 Sting 2-4 Hawk & Lock Spoiler Bullock and Lassiter, nicknamed “Hawk” and “Lock,” respectively, are like a package deal. When you see one, the other is likely close by, if not by the other’s side. Bullock, the third-rounder, had five interceptions last season, and had the fourth-lowest passer rating allowed by both corners and safeties. Lassiter had three interceptions and allowed the lowest completion percentage (45.6%) among cornerbacks who faced 30 targets, according to the NFL’s Next Gen stats. Yet, when the NFL announced the finalists for defensive rookie of the year, neither Bullock nor Lassiter was on the list. The candidates for the award were Eagles cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, Rams linebacker Jared Verse and defensive tackle Braden Fiske, and Dolphins edge rusher Chop Robinson. When asked how they felt about that, Lassiter’s facial expression changed to stone-cold serious. He nudged Bullock to go first. “Really, I laughed it off,” Bullock said. “I mean, it was kind of disrespectful. But I know it’s politics that go into it also. Guys who were first- and second round, and we were picked later.” “We both have long careers ahead of us, so it just adds more fuel to our fire,” Lassiter said. … “Our confidence level is out the roof right now going into our second year,” Bullock said. “We’ve been putting in the work and we know it’s going to show up on the field.” “It’s going to show,” Lassiter added. “The highest,” Bullock said. “We’re trying to be All-Pro. We've seen Derek Stingley do it last year. He’s the standard. We’ve seen what it looks like. So that’s our goal.” What excites Bullock and Lassiter most, though, is the secondary’s potential this year as a whole. The Texans already have a shutdown cornerback in Stingley, the All-Pro who this offseason became the richest cornerback in NFL history. And they traded for safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who had six interceptions and helped the Eagles win a Super Bowl last year. “Don’t forget Five,” Lassiter says, referring to nickel corner Jalen Pitre. “I think we’ve got the best DB room in the NFL,” Bullock said. “When I look to my left and my right, I see two great guys. When I look in front of me, I see (Pitre). I look next to me, I see another great safety. So I know, on our back end, we’re going to hold it down for sure.”
OMG... it's like them dudes had horse blinders on... LOL Also, the new DBs sound like an Avengers or X-men style group: Sting (Stingley) Lock (Lassiter) Hawk (Bullock) CD / CeeDee / Ceedy Duice / 2X take your pick (Gardner-Johnson) The Punisher (Pitre) TBF, I made up Pitre's nickname.. but I like it and I think it's applicable
Also because he’s not wearing pads, not being checked by a DB, not being schemed against. Fast players always stand out when the team is in t-shirts & shorts.
