Peyton is supposedly going to give the Colts a sweetheart deal provided they use the money on other players, he says. Damn damn damn.

How's this for a turn on Nnamdi Asomugha sweepstakes. Jets are out. Nnamdi's about ready to make up his mind.

Eisen reported on NFL Network that Breer is saying the Jets are out of Nnamdi sweepstakes "for the moment".

I think there is just a lot of posturing going on here. It's like a couple of high schoolers playing flirty games with each other but neither will go out with the other person.

I hope he goes to Tampa or something like that.

Wow, I'm so glad now we have Joseph instead of waiting on greedy Nnamdi.

you'd think he would have done that before they lost Sessions.

    I guess so:

    michaelombardi Michael Lombardi
Yes, Jets out, hearing Dallas, but waiting for confirmation, and not Jerry's fist pumps...Asomuga loves Rob Ryan..something brewing.

I'm hoping he just resigns with Oakland. Its scary to think of him on the Jets, and I don't want the Cowboys to ever succeed even though if they signed Nhamdi they still have tons of holes to fill with probably no money to do so.

Might be shot but rather him end up in Dallas than NY. We won't play Cowgirls till 3 years and by that point Joseph could be better than Nnamdi.

I have to admit that I never thought Nnamdi would be one to drag it out and make a soap opera out of this. Thought his character would translate into the negotiations.

smith is a little overpaid, but you can't dont cut you most consistent D-line player (i leave mario out due to his injuries). If anything you retructure his deal...you do not cut your 2nd best lineman on an already thin defensive front.

If we don't have him, I'd be very happy to see him in the NFC. I want nothing to do with that overloaded Jets team.

    Word.

    i'm a tad surprised too.

I'm glad the texans didnt let themselves get strung along into this longer than they did.

I don't hold this against Nnamdi, this is probably his last big contract. I am just glad the Texans didn't get used in the process.

So this is bizarre. Jets are out and now according to Nnamdi's agent the Boys are out.

Jerome Solomon just tweeted Boys are out
