JJ is looking for the money. We are obviously going to throw it out there. I like this. I think we will pick up a top tier cb.

Well it was reported earlier that we were looking at/wanting 2 cbs and we are on the top of Aso's and Joseph's list. Anybody we can pull both of these guys?

Probably only the Bucs have that much caproom.

IMO the Texans have offered both Aso and Joseph deals, if Aso doesn't sign then Joseph will.

Just awaiting that first domino to fall.

They could do it. Cut okoye, orvlovsky, and slaton to get 7+ million. Use that money to sign joseph(front loaded contract), then redo schuabs and use all the rest of our cap room and exception to sign Aso

lol...ending up with Joseph and Aso...ok fine, I'll play along.

We'd easily be the best team in football.

I bet ESPN would still pick Indy to win the division...

Come on guys. We are holding our hopes out for the first impact free agent in franchise history. Don't start getting greedy and wanting two in one offseason!

Go big or go home! I'll be singing kumbaya if we land one of them, but I will believe it when I see it.

Im pretty sure we will get Aso. If the jets really wanted him, he would have agreed to them by now. The 49er's should be laughed at because they're not winning anything soon. By the time we go to work in the morning, the texans will have made a splash!

I'd say the longer he takes, the less chance he has of signing with the Jets. The only reason I can think of for him taking so long is that he's trying to drive up the price.

I know I was the first and loudest who was harping against the "salary cap limitations" that others preached, but there actually is a salary cap and there's only so much creativity you can have. Eventually you do run out of cap room. This team, even if they sign Aso or Joseph, will need a veteran safety.

Someone posted this on twitter. I think it's false thought b/c Schefter has no new tweets

RT @AdamSchefter :The Houston #Texans have agreed to terms with Nnamdi Asomugha on a five-year, $55 million contract

I agree with the bolded. The rest is a little premature, but would be awesome.

Schefter has not tweeted. Clue for everyone though, normally the news breaks without contract details.
