Why are the national talking heads discussing CJ the last 2 days? Feels manufactured, like agent driven or something.

They picked up Anderson's option too. Stroud has an absolutely terrible agent though.

At this point, there is little maneuvering room for the agent. The difference between WAJ and CJ on extension timing is the 2025 season and 2026 playoffs. WAJ is proven and CJ is on a prove it window. I believe WAJ will sign an extension this off season and CJ will do so next off season. There is mutual benefit for everyone if it is done this way. The problems would come when the benefit interests collide.

Cj needs to play well first before that happens

I'll be shocked if WAJ isn't extended soon. Not even worried about it.

IMO, CJ's future with the Texans rides 100% on this coming season. If he ain't up to snuff, he gone.

Guess that means they're not looking to trade up, which means they're definitely trading up.

The only thing certain with Nick is uncertainty.

If I were in charge of the Texans, Nick Caserio would not be the GM. I don't believe he is capable of "fixing" the offensive line. Stroud will be running for his life again this season. I sincerely hope I am proven wrong.

I hope you're wrong too. I think you are, but the proof comes with the season. I just like Caserio's strategy in general seeking value rather than press approval.

BPA is such a cop out, can we at least say BPA at a position of need, if there was a QB that's high on your board are you really going to draft that guy when you don't need him? We have needs at certain positions, just say BPA at the positions of need, stop saying you're just going to pick the BPA.......rarely is that done unless you're the Ravens

I like Nick, but his word salad and cadence when he talks makes me want to strangle him

    So everything is Caserio fault.

I thought it was Caley's fault?

    I know it's everybody but CJ's fault.
