I see both sides on this one and want what is best for the Texans as I am entertained by the sport and team. I know Brown wants more but come regular season this better be taken care of. I personally do not pay him; so he should get all he can till it truly affects the team on the field. All of your thoughts are more than valid just to early to execute. Enjoy the preseason for what it is an evaluation of the team depth and be happy for the next to last person to get cut because their life will be changed for ever.

Realistically Duane Brown isn't retired (which is his only option if he doesn't show up), so it'll be Duane Brown and Lamm, which was always the plan.

Hope you're right. Believe Clark started every game at RT after Newton went down and he was downright terrible. So either Lamm couldn't beat him out or they wanted to leave him as insurance behind Duane.

Well technically the Texans could cut him and not pay him anything. Its not guaranteed.

Clark actually was pretty good on the left side when Duane was out. Don't know why he was so bad on the right side.

He doesn't have the core strength to deal with most of the rushers that RTs have to face.

True, but you and I both know they wouldn't just let someone as Duane go when they have him under contract for 2 more years. I just wish he would start working out with the team, and quit this cat and mouse game of gimme more, but somehow I doubt he does. Maybe a young prospect will benefit from getting to work out with the starting team. That's the bright side I guess.

    D. Revis is in talks with us. I wonder if he will have anything left to show out on the field

Where are you seeing this? If true, hopefully its for a look at S. He was awful at CB last season.

I want no part of Revis unless he's allowed to get away with PI again and he's playing safety.

Looks like little more than a warm body, but it would be great if he proved to be more than that.
