that sucks man. it sounds like everything's already underway for plans for your new site, but as a suggestion, y'all should maybe attempt a more texans-centric name for the site that will hook people in there better. never seemed to have that texans feel to it and that might be why you guys didn't bring in the strong member base. houstonprofootball just seems so generic. my wife is in advertising, so i've picked up a thing or two over the years on the value of name-branding. i don't know, just a suggestion. something like "Battleredforums" or something like that. anyway, good luck and i cant wait to see your new site! t
There is a rumor going around that we could see a Texans vs. Titans Monday Night Football Game. That would be one hell of a game if all we can get everyone on the field (Schaub, VY, Mario, AJ).
just curious has anyone heard about charles spencer's status? Is he going to be able to play this season? Is he 100% healthy? I think he's an incredible talent and hope he's healthy again. He did a really good job his first 2 games.
I had read something that they aren't counting on him coming back and are looking at LT's in the draft. Also, they think he might be better suited as a guard. I'll see if I can find the article...
yeah, thanks - we launched in 1999, so at the time, HPF was an appropriate name because they had no team yet. by the time the texans were born, we had two years invested in the name and thought it would be better to stay the course. the new site name has a slightly more texan feel to it, and yes, ima - it'll be up in a few weeks, just in time for the draft. thanks, guys.

Holy crap look at those first 5 games. As a whole, this could easily be the hardest schedule that the Texans have ever faced. At least we finally got a Monday night game....and it's against the Jags. I actually think that I am starting to hate them more than the Titans. I saw Maurice Jones-Drew on NFL Live last night and I wanted to punch him in the mouth.
