    Nick Caserio is a big fan of Jonathan Biles, he's swayed Lovie to his favor as well. They're going to give him a chance prove himself. I hope Nick is right on this one but if he's wrong he'll fix it quick

    Texans practice squad looks like our starting lineup from 3 weeks ago. This team needs to just keep hitting on these draft picks, we need talent in every way.

    We are still 2 years away from our championship window opening up. With the addition of a top-flight pass rusher in the next draft, the additional influx of young talent from the Browns picks and our own picks, the addition of one more playmaker on offense, a couple of veteran free agent signings, and the continued maturation of our young players, we will be on our way. This assumes Davis Mills rises to the challenge of being a quality QB, which I think will be the case. Making the playoffs in 2023 is a realistic goal.

    Glad it seems that Pierce has gotten the different protection calls down this quickly but it worries me a bit with just Rex and Dare behind him.

    With Pierce's violent running style and the fact that he's never carried a huge workload before in college, if he gets nicked up I would hate to see us have to rely on Rex Burkhead as the main emphasis of our running game.

    Rex is likely the 3rd down back. He's knows the protections and is a solid receiver as a check down.
