    Am I listening to NY Jets announcers? Oh Clowney on the sack... If Darnold scores a TD, HOLY COW JETS UPSET TEXANS. They sound disappointed the Jets lost.

    This is one time I agree with BOB.
    Don't take a chance on a sack or incompletion to stop the clock.
    If we can't keep them out of the end zone with less than a minute to play we don't deserve to win.

    Eating the 40 seconds on 3rd down is the smart move there - I think most coaches do that. It might be different if you're playing Brady or Rodgers or KC, but scoring a TD with under a minute and no timeouts with Sam Darnold is highly unlikely. Absolutely the right play given the opponent.
