It's obvious regarding Cush.. Sigh...time for the D to step up. I know not official, but you just sense by his teammates reaction that it might be awhile. Ugh he, just read the above about Cushing. Sucks

    Danieal Manning:

McCain, I believe he did get tired. Great play though. Big momentum change. Brice stepped up in a big way.

We carry it over from the practice field. We get picks, JJ batting balls, it carries over to the game. We gotta work on stripping that ball.

    Great win. Guys stepped up.

B+ or A- for the secondary.

5-0 feels good. We got the win but want it in a different fashion. We wanted to dominate.

32 teams say they want to be great but its the preparation. This team is doing it consistently day in and day out.

We're young but a lot of knowledge and experience in those areas. We're putting it all together. Testament to the ownership and Rick Smith.

We haven't seen the Texans best game yet in all three phases.

On the field, didn't think it was that bad(for Cushing). Didn't think about it, we had to continue to play. You hate to lose a guy like Brian.

He brings leadership, motor, play-making skills, intensity and passion for this game and not only this game but this team. Brian is a straight up gladiator. That's the way he plays. Sideline to sideline. He does anything for his team. To lose him early in the season, tough but we have to regroup.

We will play for Brian. We have guys stepping in. I'm a fan of guys not replacing players but stepping in to show what they can do.

special teams is hurting this team. marciano needs to step it up, he's been here for a long time and the last few years nothing special about special teams at all.

i'm hoping for good news on cush.

I feel so bad for him. This has to be killing him. Sigh.....why can't the Texans just have ONE season where something like this doesn't happen?? Tim Dobbins, time to step up.

What a f$&king blow man. It's unbelievable how unlucky houston teams are. Is it because we traded Hakeem? How do we break this?

Cushing was playing out of his mind these last 2 years.

    James Casey:

Great game. I had a great game. Tough to go on the road, especially NY. We knew they would be ready to play. You have to find ways to finish it out.

As we go on, games will get harder, but we're focusing on ourselves to put together our work and gameplan. If we execute, we feel we're tough to beat.

Our O is based on the running game. When Arian runs like that, it opens everything up.

You can always do better, even if you're 5-0. If you don't, it will come back to bite you later.

What a silly statement, one bad game does not discredit him. Just wait for the rest of the primetime games this season.

Loved the win, hated some of the play calling, esp towards the latter part of the 3rd qtr on. We definitely needed to torch their secondary more, but when Foster is getting 150+ yds, it's easy to keep ridin' that wave.

LOL @ Jets unable to count to 11.

    Owen Daniels:

    We made enough plays.

Losing Cush is tough. First big adversity we have to deal with this year. Thoughts with him, hope for a full recovery. We dealt with it last year. A team thing for us this year. It's the way it is. We have a good team. Hopefully guys step up and we'll be alright.

5-0 feels good. Another big one next week.

As much as losing Cushing hurts its not as bad as losing any of the D-linemen (except for the Ghost that is Barwin).

Man it's football... Zero percent chance of that ever happening. We have so many top flight players we're bound to lose a couple over the course of a season. Really sucks too bc he was playing well, especially tonight.

    NEXT MAN UP
