Good leaders know how to surround themselves with people who challenge them and offer a different perspective ;-)

Here's the link to the Jerome Bettis interview with Colin Cowherd. Starts around the 3:15 mark...

If we hire Bettis, I want 5%!!

Maybe Jackson will learn a few things from watching Revis.

We're going to get pounded anyway. We have no answer for the Jets. We demonstrated that fully last season.

Except Kareem should already be taking reps against the best in the business. Who would know better about the techniques of the Nnamdi's and Revis's than Andre? As iron sharpens iron, man sharpens man.

Here are just a FEW of the responses that went through my mind after reading this:

    - But what sharpens toast?

    - Instead of getting sharpened, I think Kareem is just getting burned.

    - But unlike iron, man falls down. A LOT.

    - If by man sharpens man, you're implying that Kareem should start stabbing opposing WRs at the line of scrimmage, then I agree whole-heartedly.

This should be an interesting game. Both teams were 9-7 last year but had radically different approaches in the offseason. The Jets decided to make significant moves while the Texans decided to more or less stand pat. I wonder which method will prove to be the most effective.

paper bag it, and if the texans start losing, rotate it and take a nap.

    Schaub "fine"
Owen Daniels to miss this week
Zac Diles could miss this game; if so, Sharpton will step in.

At least there's no K. Jenkins. It's all about keeping that pass rush under control, then Schaub can find his rhythm.

I spoke to god yesterday and he said and I'm quoting for truth.."Book it. The Texans will win and that foster will be 70% of the offense."

They are going to get killed tomorrow and the players and coach will read from the same "loser" scripts they have been reading from for what seems like forever.

Did the same, sir. I'm expecting 300+ yards and 3+ TDs out of Sanchize. Holmes, Edwards, Keller and co. are going to run circles around our secondary. K. Jack's in for a long day...

It would've no doubt impacted Pollard.. the secondary would've been a lot better. He's almost on that level that he can shut down a star WR. He hasn't done it consistently enough yet this season, but the Jets are lucky to have two of the best corners in the league.
