At least we've changed the field position thus far. Need to make a play and get in the end zone (offense, defense, special teams...). I'd watch a deep double move on GQ. Hopefully someone's told him that too.
They are actually not playing terrible today. We are up against a very good team on their home field.
Its just the little things you see... like the way they defended that TE screen to Casey. It was a perfectly executed play on our end, and against most defenses, thats a 20+ yard gain.... but their guys have the ability to recover after getting beat, and have the speed and strength to still disrupt a play. That's just fundamentally sound coaching, scheme, and then... talent. But you can have all the talent in the world, and if you're not being well coached or have a good game plan, you won't be a good defensive team.
Gotta say this is probably the best the D has looked all season (inexplicable 10 yd cushion at the goal line aside).
