I'm sure if Kubiak had the ability to call the defensive plays, he would... but that's why they have coordinators in this league.

I can't help to think that an established defensive coordinator with a solid track record would not only do better, but actually be able to be "inventive" with the type of players they have on defense.

Pollard is an idiot. But that's again on the coaching. They don't know how to properly hit a QB.

I don't think anyone in the league knows how to hit the QB without getting flagged.

I'm sure they've been taught the rules & techniques, but knowing & doing are 2 vastly different things. And it's not like Pollard isn't known for that kind of stuff.
