Why is everyone acting like this is the last game of the season? DET is about to beat ARZ (lol).

There's still 3 games to go, and the Jets and Jaguars play each other. I think we definitely have a shot at top 3.

Meaningless would be the Texans middle name if franchises had middle names.

    1. JAX, 2. DET, 3. HOU, 4. NYJ unless I’m mistaken. Houston wins tie-breaker with NYJ cause of the Texans’ head-to-head loss to the Jets

Depending on who is there (you know Jacksonville and NY aren't taking QBs) you still are probably in good shape. I like trading down if a team falls in love with one of the Qbs (which I could easily see happening with Pickett)

Another drop by a JAX receiver

One of the most blopper-ridden pass games I've ever seen

Strength of schedule 1st tie breaker on draft slot ties.
We have 3 tough games left so our sos won't be going down any but someone has to win the Jets-Jags game.

And viola I just checked and with the jags game our sos dropped considerably.
But so will the Jets sos when they play the jags.

There really are no QBs projected to go in the top 5 of this draft. Next year a better time for Texans to address that position in the draft unless they can find a partner to trade down. Still, not sure Pickett, Corral, or Willis are franchise QBs

Good news in the last 2 weeks is the improvement from the Hawaiian from Distance kicking the ball. 61 this week, 2 - 50+ yarders this week.

Or........Caserio considers that low enough to just take a qb there. sigh! (worst case scenario)
And just because you want to trade down doesn't mean there's someone that wants to trade up.
There has to be a player there someone's willing to give up value to come up and get.

As to ol/dl Thibodeaux and Hutchinson will probably be gone and I'm not sold on Evan Neal with a pick that high.

If the Texans lose, the response is “fire everyone!”

if the Texans win, the response is b****ing about order of draft picks in a draft that’s doesn’t seem to be very top heavy.

I was talking about trading with another team who may want one of those guys. I don't want any of them

Lol kinda agree, as long as we pick top 5 we will get premium talent, that’s what this team needs..

I don’t get being upset when people had zero expectation this team was gonna win. I said they wouldn’t be the worst team in the league and that was deemed wildly optimistic. So when they lose, people whine even though they totally expected it. But if they unexpectedly win, they whine about the top of a draft which isn’t all that great. It’s just noise at this point.
