That seals it... about the only thing left for him to do is find a cure for cancer ... hell, he may be the cure for cancer.
He did a great job replacing Williams with Reed and Barwin with Mercilus. The definition of seamless.
Yep. Seemlessly went from 2 good pass rushers to 2 average ones. Where did that cap money go, exactly?
i'm not ashamed to say it always, love the drafts and the pick up of non drafted rookies. but it's the cap management that makes me want to vomit. no reason why it couldn't be this way... FS: GQ SS: Swearinger Cbs: joseph/kareem/bouye/rolle LBs: Merciless/Cushing/2nd round rook/ Barwin Dline: Crick/ aaron donald/ watt that would be unbeeeetabol right there.
I'm pretty sure a lot of people were ready for Barwin to walk. I hated to see Quin leave but he didn't do anything his first year after he left. Thank God no one is bringing up Jacoby There's always going to be the Jason Babin's of the world where it didn't make sense to keep them at the time and no one could predict they would start producing at the rate that they would. What about the free agent pick-ups like Rolle, Simon, Mays and resigning Foster, Watt, Myers, Brown, etc.
Barwin was practically invisible his last year here. 3.5 sacks in 16 games played, 15 of them starting. This place would have exploded had we re-signed him after a horrible year like that.
