Well, they may have gotten the worst two overall offenses in the NFL as their opponents... but hell, after the debacle of 2010, I'll take it.
*Yawn* I'm tired of watching these blowout boring game. I miss the close intense games of the 2009 and 2010 seasons. Texans weren't as good but at least all of the games were extremely exciting and intense to watch.
Couldn't disagree more. As an orginization and we as fans deserve some of this, for what we've experienced the last ten years.
Having played high school ball with him it's incredibly bittersweet for me... Knowing how amazing he is, we only have a 2 year window before he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and challenging us for the division.
I know I'm in the minority here but I'd rather have the 2009 9-7 Texans. Passed all the time, top notch offense/pass game and almost every game came down to the last possession. Last season each game was just domination, and not that exciting. I mean it's fun to watch your games blowout an opponent every once in a while but when it happens week after week after week it gets old to me. I miss when the Texans were more under the radar, had less bandwagon fans, and the games were extremely close and exciting.
Take that talk about a certain WR to the NFL thread in the other forum. I just threw up in my mouth a lot at the site of the Jerry Jones rapping commercial. Not sure the first half could have gone better than that. The jags are completely confused as to what the Texans are doing offensively and they have Gabbert completely shell shocked, again. The poor kid would overthrow the ocean from the beach right now at the sight of JJ Watt.
Wasn't that the team that rolled over like a dog and got butt ####ed by the Jets first game of the season? No thanks.
Dear G-d, he's serious. I'll take the Texans blowing out each and every opponent and having 19 very boring games over finishing 9-7 and out of the playoffs just because the games were more exciting.
I know that but I'm talking last year as well. I can't wait for the Texans to play Packers, Broncos, etc.
