The rest of the Texans effed up by staring dumbfounded at the refs instead of tackling MSW when the ball was tipped or when he caught it at 3-5 yard line.

Maybe that is asking too much, but secondary players have to be quick thinkers and decision makers. That just underlies how this secondary does not have playoff talent.

Come on, as if he could reasonably control where to knock it.

He knocked it straight down. Unlucky team is unlucky.

I mean, you gotta love the fact that Gus Johnson got to add this to his resume.

He caught it at the half yardline. There was nothing they could do about it.

LOL Actually it did. Texans had no business throwing down the middle of the field. No way we would have been able to spike the ball and try for FG. Stupid play calling for the loss again!

Less straight down and more forward directly at a receiver.

It wasn't exactly straight down. He basically threw it backwards. If he bats it straight down to his feet, it goes to OT. Instead, he felt the need to be Chase and spike it down on someones face. Yeah, I know, he didn't know someone would be there, but it's a Hail Mary. Yeah, you're going to have a few guys around you. If he wanted to spike it so bad, spike it out of bounds.

Suddenly the Texans remind me of the Oilers during the Jerry Glanville-Jack Pardee era

    McNair, burn down that AstroDome!

the stupid play call had everything to do with kubiak. lol what were we gonna do? spike the ball on 4th? run out the kicking team in 8 seconds? was dressen gonna break multiple tackles and turn on the afterburners and make it to the endzone? that play was all risk and no reward.

Quinn was terrible, but that was a fluke play.
