Never seen Andre score such an easy TD. He literally jogged his way in the endzone. Lesson for Kubiak on the awesome dual powers of a good running game. That playaction was a killer.
IN AFC South news elsewhere, Kerry Collins got hurt, VY got in, and on Vince's second play he fumbled the ball.
Like I said, to me it just seems like when the really bad kid in 3rd grade got candy and kudos from the teacher for being good for a change. I mean, yeah...they made adjustment. Not because the great things were doing before weren't working. Not because the Jags had an answer for all of the great plays they were calling, b/c they just sucked at everything in the first half.
Okay, so basically you aknowledge that there would be no way you could ever give Kubiak any credit what so ever if the team makes a turnaround. C'mon... the first half, they were trying to run the ball, and set up deep routes. Second half they are going to the underneath stuff and using THAT to set up the play-action. Those are adjustments. When something is not working, then you change it to something it does, its adjustments.
Exactly. You got it exactly right. If this team continues to come out limp in the first half of games week after week, I'm not giving the HC any credit for anything.
Dude, you're seeing whatever you want to see. The Jags were STUFFING the run, and getting pressure on Schaub for the drop back passes. They go to the quick underneath routes and re-inforce the screens... and all of a sudden, the play-action and runs start working a little.
And last week didn't happen for you? 20 points in the first half against a good D? (which should have been 24 if not for the stupid rule TD call). Again... call it like it is, not like you think it is.
