How's that for some halftime adjustments? If you guys are going to rag on Kubiak every single time something goes wrong, there has to be at least a semblance of aknowledgement when things go right.
Credit to Kubes. Despite my doubts, they made adjustments at halftime and the offense is now back on track. Still taking a wait and see position on the defense.
Things are going right..but I'm still not happy with Kubiak. One quarter does not erase that. I'll be happy if we win, though. No doubt about it.
Coming out, I was more concerned about how the defense would make adjustments. Kubiak and Dennison biggest faults is sticking with something that's not working too long. Sometimes even if you make good adjustments at half, it's too late (see the second Colts game). Come on, D!
Yeah, this is what I said earlier. Just like with the Rockets, it's about the defense. We can't stop anything, but the last defensive series gave me hope. We need another stop.
Kind of hard to give a guy credit for going from absolute suckage to doing what he should have been doing to begin with. I don't see this as a situation where Jacksonville was beating everything we were trying to do and Kubes went in and made a new game-plan based on what was happening. They're just pulling the same crap they have been for the past few games. Suck in the first half, come out and play like you SHOULD have been in the second. Is that making good adjustment? I don't thinks it is.
Definitely. Have to give credit where credit is due. Still plenty of time left in this game though so they need to keep the foot on the pedal.
