Mark down the date. Defining moment in Texans history.

    Kubiak is done.

You're right that was all on Leach.

Kubiak must go (1st time I've suggested/demanded a coaches removal). Mediocre will always be his best, and bonehead decisions will always lurk around the corner. Gotta get it over with, get an interim and shop for the best coach available.

After seeing this GIF as well I thought had Brown stayed in his makeshift pocket he woulda gotten a better throw. But still, the fact that he didnt tells me the team hasnt practiced this enough. Hence, not something you want when you are at 1st and goal from the 5 with plenty of time trailing two scores.

    Oh hell no.

Brown made a weaksauce throw that my grandma would be able to beat.

But it's a team sport, so there was some other fail to go around.

anyone accusing Kubes of "designing" that play doesn't know what he's talking about. It was a running play, and I believe CB decided to pull a Rosencopter and get rid of the ball as to not take the loss.

bad call on running it with Chris Brown, but no way in hell Kubiak designed that RB throwing play. I refuse to believe that.

Watch the offensive line. They never go downfield, and are more or less sliding the direction Brown ran. The tight end releases downfield as well. This was a designed halfback pass.

Kubiak said in his postgame that was a designed throw.

He won't be leaving. The Texans will franchise him if needed.

I just hope we can put a winner around this guy. So many other star WR's would have been b****ing and moaning if they were in the same situation as him.

Man, it really sucks when plays like the Brown pass don't surprise you anymore.

I can't really put it into words. This team is just consistently disappointing. Nothing but disappointment year after year...yet I still watch every game and still will continue to do so. Tough being a Texans fan, though it could be worse

One thing the Chris Brown pass attempt, and the subsequent AJ touchdown that further makes you scratch your head with this team, is how infrequently they try and get AJ the ball when they are in the red zone. It makes absolutely no sense. You've got one of the best receivers in the league, he has size, you should be fired as a head coach if you don't throw at least 1 end zone fade every red zone possession...and the Texans NEVER do this. They finally decide to go to their best player in the red zone, too late of course, but they score a touchdown...shocking!

Sorry, have to establish the run. Who cares that the Texans have a potentially elite QB and an elite WR with an almost nonexistant running game with Chris "3 and out" Brown as the primary back. Kubiak's insisting on the run game when the Texans are clearly a passing team this year has really made my head spin.

Thx. I ended up looking it up bc some idiot caller on 610 had mentioned something about him opting out. I can sleep easy now..

I'm telling you guys that I felt more relieved than anything after todays loss. New coach for next season. We don't need to suffer any longer.

Funny thing is, the Texans are still in the playoff hunt. San Diego (9-3), Denver (8-4) and Jacksonville (7-5) have the inside edge to be the first wild-card in while Miami, New York and Pittburgh are all (6-6) and Baltimore with a loss tomorrow may be (6-6).

I remember my friends, family and coworkers thinking the Texans werre out after losing to Ind and Tennessee. Imagine if they had won just 2 of the last 4.

I realized something today. My relationship with the Texans as a fan changed a great deal after the Indy loss last week.

I was not upset at all by today's loss. When Chris Brown threw the interception, not even an ounce of anger rose in me. When Schaub went down, I was only concerned about his well-being and not of the repercussions of the game. As MJD ran for first down after first down in the closing minutes, I merely sat on my couch and enjoyed watching a RB who knew how to pick up yards when it matters. I didn't think much of it at the time, but it was actually a very pleasant viewing experience.

You see, with that loss last week, I think my brain and heart threw in the white flags and exclaimed that they were done with expectations for the Texans. No longer will I give them the benefit of the doubt. I think that my body has become so used to having the Texans rip its heart out, that it has just become preprogrammed to assume they will lose.

I am not a bandwagoner. I will still root for the Texans and watch them every week. However, they have lost all of my confidence. Until they consistently prove otherwise, I guess I will always assume they are going to mess up. As I learned today, it is a much easier experience, and might add a few years onto my life.
