I am listening to the post game and cant believe that people still think we are going to finish 8-8. There is no way. The Texans are really looking at 6-10. They are 5-7. With 4 games left, here is how this going to go down. Seattle- win- followed by all the players saying it is great to win, and we need to build on this etc. St. Louis- loss- followed by the players saying we are devastated, words cant describe how this locker feels etc. Miami- loss- there is no way they win this game on the road. New England- loss- Nothing to be said here- the Stadium will be empty. I have season tickets, Section 118, Row EE, Seats 3-4. At this point, I really dont know if I am going next week. I will go to see the Pats, just so I can see Brady.
The Chris Brown play doesnt even matter, Texans still wouldn't have gotten the ball back. So blame it on the run defense.

This was a trick play that failed miserably in the playoffs on the road in Denver. Glanville got cute deep in his own territory leading to a turnover. I think "Stagger Lee" is an old rockabilly song. Glanville liked all of that BS swagger and bravado. Anyway, the Chris Brown play was nowhere near as bad as the Stagger Lee.
The Texans are the most amazing team I've ever seen. They literally INVENT ways to lose... spectacularly! They build up some hope that they could win-- that's a classic tactic adopted by all Houston teams, of course. But the Texans are truly transcendent in the ways that they destroy that hope. The lowlights are never banal! I swear to God that Andy Warhol would have loved the Texans. You watch a play like Chris Brown's pass and think, "Did that just happen? How could something like that happen? I'm not sure that really happened." So you rewind the DVR, and yes, somehow that actually happened. Was it a designed play? Did it come from the head coach himself? Was it really supposed to be a pass? Did the players have any confidence that it would actually work as a First and Goal play? You don't know! And you never will! TEXANS!
No, Rosencopter was on the quarterback. This one is on the coach. Can't blame Kubes for Sage trying to do an Elway imitation. You can definately pin a bad call of a halfback pass at the 5 on 1st and goal on him though.
I didn't realize that Vonta Leach completely blew his blocking assignment and went inside instead of outside and letting Myers take the trailing man. Chris never should have been hit.
