This only traps the team into mediocrity, since the don't have cap to sign a FA QB, and prevent themselves from getting an impact QB in the draft.

I agree with all of this.

I just wish he would show just a tad bit of improvement in the things that he's struggling at over the last 6 games (instead of regression).

Also, with more game film, opposing teams have a better idea of what to do against him.

This is what is sad ...Everyone is saying Schaub is done here and that very well may be true. But he will probably end up going somewhere else whether as a starting qb or backup qb ie, ( David Carr) and winning a super bowl. Or at least have a lot of success like some of our other cast offs.
