Arian is going to take so much pressure off everybody, especially Mallet and our defense. He is going to control so much of the ball that our defense can actually rest at times. Ive been watching old highlights of him and its a breath of fresh air. Cant wait.
Also, Blue is much better in the 2nd back role. That should be a pretty sweet 1-2 punch this weekend.
Everyone seems to understate this but Foster IS our QB, so to speak. Is the engine that makes this team run. He almost beat the Ravens by himself in the playoffs with Yates at QB.
You think Texans defense is that bad? I will bump this if we keep them to half or less than 42 and you can have a nice serving of crow.
Texans at Falcons (-7) This one hinges largely on the health of Arian Foster. If he’s 100 percent, I anticipate they’ll be able to finally move the ball regularly on the ground. If he’s not, I expect more of the same. Foster has elite vision for a running back, while Alfred Blue has always been poor in that aspect. The best place to exploit the Falcons is through the air, but unfortunately that’s been where the Texans have also been the worst. Ryan Mallett looked much improved against Tampa Bay, but he’s still extremely inaccurate, with the third-worst accuracy percentage in the NFL. The Texans don’t really have anyone in their secondary that can match up with Julio Jones (I’m not sure any team does, really) and I see the Falcons taking it big. Prediction: Falcons 33, Texans 20 Confidence Grade: -0.5 https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/10/02/spread-picks-and-scores-for-every-nfl-week-4-game/
Pretty much every Houston sports radio guy predicted about the same score…35-20 range. It really does depend on Arian playing or not. We're just not that good of an offense without him. And our defense will not hold the Falcons under 24 pts unless we dominate TOP.
The Falcons line is suspect i expect a big day from Watt/Clowney If Arian play we win, if he doesnt we lose
They've been above average. 12th in yards but 9th in points allowed, which is to be expected from a "bend, but don't break" defense. Last year they were 16th in yards and 7th in points. They're #1 in opposing QB completion % and 6th in passing YPA. Where they're average is run defense, where they're 15th in YPC.
So in your mind, if the texans will lose by the score of 21-6, you will be so happy because he is wrong you accpmplished a huge moral victory? Nice.
Come on Foster! Just like how we run this play from today. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VWOd9vb-BSA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Astros winning on the road Cougars winning on the road I feel good for the Texans. I'm calling a win and at least one sack by Clowney.
Texans still had plenty of chances in that game. Stage was too big for Yates and he was horrible. 3 picks and I think Ed Reed and Ray Ray dropped 2 more
Now, now, we all know a QB doesn't contribute disproportionately to winning or losing. Unless it's Hoyer.
