Gotta let it go, I was a big Mallett supporter because if his arm talent but he just doesnt possess it between the ears apparently. It's not all on Mallett though, this coaching staff specifically the calling of plays is pathetic as well.
Mallet was awful today. One of the worst displays of accuracy I've seen by a starting QB in a long time. Don't get me wrong, there were problems everywhere. But he was BAD.
I heard Andre and The Voice trying to say he might be 'more injuered' than they thought I was thnking . . . . when did they ever say he was hurt before Every through either sails or is down and behind it seemed Rocket River
Like it or not Results matter Tebow has lead a team to a Playoff Victory Mallet has not In his 5 yrs in the league he has like 2 wins? Maybe 3? Rocket River
This blowout was like watching a high school game. So embarrassing. O'briens Hardknocks opening speech fell on deaf ears
They'll be lucky to win a playoff game! As we will be extremely blessed to win 5 games this year... Lolol
First time i heard of this injury was on the bottom scroll of the Jets/Dolphins game that Mallet had a chest injury. The same thing happened last year!! After a really good first start, Mallet injured his pec and didn't tell anyone. Texans lost the next game that even Fitz could have won. Mallet was really bad. It's a definite possibility he was hiding an injury AGAIN so he wouldn't lose his starting spot. Is that a battle fighting move or just selfish?
what's insane is that we're arguing over mallet and hoyer! dark times. when does fred savage come back?

The dude can't even throw an accurate slant route. When he tries to lead a receiver he just ends up passing it to the grass. I have hardly any QB experience but I thought throwing competent slant passes was a staple that every damn QB out of high school knows how to do. Mallet is the least accurate passer I've personally witnessed at the pro level. I truly feel sorry for Hopkins. A large reason why receivers like Wayne and Harrison are some of the all time greats is continuity with their QB. Hopkins will probably never experience continuity with a QB as a Texan since they will probably shuffle through different QBs for at least the next 3 seasons. Hindsight is 20/20, but the best option the Texans could have performed to stay competitive was to stick with the bearded Harvard grad. He is a mediocre QB who can sustain long drives against first team defenses, something none of our current QBs have been able to accomplish.
Yup, Ive never seen someone miss the mark so many times on the most basic of passes. Terrible touch, terrible accuracy. That will never get fixed.
