Good news: this only counts as one loss. As bad as the team looked, they are only one game out of first place and can be in the lead in just a few days.

If this team plays anything remotely close to how it's played for the first month of the season, it doesnt matter if they had a 2 game lead in the division right now.

We probably need to tank. We have such little depth we need a really good draft next year.

No, he really doesn't, ridiculous rhetoric like that makes you sound as bad as Mr. Clutch, c'mon, you're better than that.

Yes it does. As bad as this team is, they'd beat the crap out of the Jags, maybe the Colts.

Not if we start Upside Mallet.

It's a conundrum. We should tank, but BOB is gonna try to save his job and start Hoyer.

Tim Tebow's career QBRating is higher than Mallet. Even has a higher y/a.

Still think Mallet has tons of upside?

Ah yes, starting Hoyer would be better based on what he did against 3rd stringers today....ignoring the rest of his career.

You're basically the John McClain of this forum.

LOL, you should make a poll on that.

His rest of his career suggests a guy who could put up a 75-80 QBRating....which is far outside of the range that Mallet can accomplish.

There's a thread about trading JJ Watt and a thread about abandoning the franchise.....do you really think the popular opinion on this forum is in any way valid?

We didn't beat the crap out of the Bucs…not sure why we'd beat the crap out of any team in the NFL.

The coaching has sucked, so Im hopeful we get better with our game planning. But until this happens, the Texans won't beat the crap out of anyone.

Really? Doubling down on a really stupid statement? Fair enough.

I swear some of you guys don't actually watch football.

LOL. Your predictions for every game this season have been so absurdly terrible. From "All of KC's fans are small-town idiots for thinking they are better than the Texans" to this. It's actually prettty hard to be wrong this consistently - just by luck, you'd think you'd get something right.

There was nothing inaccurate about what I said, I just didn't predict the Texans defense failing at every level and the run game never getting going. What I said about the Falcons was a fact, not an opinion. The Texans failing to capitalize on that doesn't change anything.

What has Mallett done that Tebow hasn't?

Tebow has a better YPA, better rating…and has scored a total of 29 touchdowns while throwing only 9 career interceptions.

Tell me what Mallett has accomplished.

What you're failing to understand is that you pump up the Texans as if they'd dominate the other teams deficiencies. You always fail to see what's in front of your face…just like you're doing with Mallett.

I have seen Brian hoyer throw for 200 yards and win games before... I have seen Ryan Mallett throw the ball on the ground 10+ times a game
