And everyone being impressed by Hoyer moving the ball against the Falcon's reserves playing prevent is also EXACTLY what I'd expect from this forum.
Texans overrated defense was the biggest issue this game. Mallet didn't conceded 4 TDs in the first half. This team has so many holes. Yet other teams seem to discover undrafted, unknown gems every year.
The second half has been a glorified scrimmage but clearly Hoyer looks better than Mallett. I wanted Mallett to be one but he sucks. The accuracy and consistency issues that OBrien was concerned about were real.
The thing with Hoyer is that he's obviously free stroking it, he has no pressure, and is playing against a bunch of reserve players.
Well Hoyer might get another shot on Thursday, we'll see how he does against first string players that aren't just coasting to the end of the game. In the end, I don't really care which QB plays so long as it gives the Texans a chance to do well....so far Mallett has been the only QB that has started a game this season and given the team a chance to win, we'll see what happens.
Mallett played against reserves when he came in game one. After 3 games, Mallett isn't the answer. Hoyer has had one game to showcase. Either way, I think we should still tank.
