This ones on the coaching staff; some absolutely mind-boggling calls.

    Honestly
ATL seems more vunerable to the vertical game
    Maybe more shots up field.

I understand Run to set up the pass. . .
    but
the run has been kind of not good today . . .

    Dayne Dayne Dayne
    Leech Leach Leech
Surprised we did not see Sam Con Gado

Severly outcoached by an average college coach. Sad...

Don't leave Schaub off the list. He had a good game statistically, but he's supposed to be a coach on the field, and this is two weeks in a row where down the stretch he's shown no sense of urgency and zero understanding of time management.

I wonder if they were trying to "outsmart" the Falcons. The QB sneak always gains yardage if the QB stays low and pushes.

Are you freakin' kiddin' me...such as the life of coaches...last to be praised when the team wins, first to be blamed when they lose.

Aside from some questionable time management and the pretty boneheaded challenge...his calls were fine. Players on that field didn't execute very well today...some costly fumbles, in ability to score touchdowns in the redzone, penatly after penalty on defense.

I would not go that far

I am looking for a way to blame Charlie Casserly

Two games actually that his clock management skills have shown to be lacking. This isn't all on him by any means. How many times did the Falcons score compared to how many times they were forced to punt. Our defense made the Falcons look like a cross between the Colts and Patriots. At the end of the game we finally decide to grow some balls and put a real pass rush on them. To little to late.

Kubiak is not a very good coach. His clock management skills are worst I have ever seen.

BUT...I still LOVE Shaub and I think Dre Davis has emerged as a #2 receiver....ahead of Jones. Davis has proven he has hands. He can catch almost anything thrown his way.

Injuries are a park of the game though.

Take Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Joseph Addai and Jeff Saturday out of the lineup and see how GREAT Manning would be.

The game was right there a few times - pretty disappointing. Hopefully we return next week with a few more starters back... Such is life as a Texans fan.

What head-coaching experience did Kubiak have? Maybe PeeWee?

Kubiak's game plan was not good. Starting the game with 3 straight running plays is cocky.

Dayne isnt good enough to start and Faggins is a joke. Our redzone offense lost us the game, along with the Leach fumble.

On the bright side, Andre Davis, Walters, and Daniels did play well. Okoye had a really good game and Mario did well in stopping the run.

I was very optimistic this season but injuries are destroying us so far.

tough loss. I'm sure the team is pissed about losing this one. they definitely could have won it.

Its a good sign that fans are no longer apathetic about this team

The offense struggled more than I thought it would, but the defense was pathetic. We gave up a career day to Harrington which is completely unacceptable.

No excuse for not putting points on the board when the ball is on the 1/2 yardline.

By that point in the game...I think the defense needed to put up a complete stop...you don't get the touchdown, you lose...you get the touchdown and allow the other team to put points on the board, you have to come back and score another touchdown. So the defense had to stop the Falcons, period, for the team to have a chance at winning the game...with that in mind, go for the (more) sure thing, make it a one position game. I really see nothing wrong with that call...just like what SD did last week...if this was earlier in the game...I'd probably go for it...but not at a time when you NEED points.

Establish the run to open up the passing...especially considering you're receiving corp is pretty decimated at the moment, didn't seem like a bad idea...perhaps he stayed w/ the run a little too long and tried to force it...but by no means was that cocky.
