Yea I really dont think we do. Bush is all about the smaller, quicker penetrators (thats what she said)
Hmm, if Stafon Johnson is there at the 18th pick of the 6th round, would we even consider taking him? That's such a great story, I hope the best for him. I'm glad we took another CB, can't have too many of those. Pugs
The finesse thing has not worked though I hope it does...but it's only worked for the Colts recently...and their defense has never been elite...just good enough.
Haha Kiper sidesteps evaluating McMannis and goes to the Jags pick.. Side note, did anyone else see the Jags got Kirk Morrison?
Didn't see they traded the pick. Like I said, if they're not confident in OD's recovery, then I don't mind the pick. But we still haven't addressed FS and I think we could use a big DT.
I doubt it. Texans have 4 young running backs already in Slaton, Tate, Foster, and Johnson. Anthony Dixon is still on there and is rated higher than Stafon Johnson. If I were to guess, I would say the Texans draft a QB, S, and OL with the last 3 picks. WR would be 4th on the list.
I think the Texans drafted as a cornerback not free safety. He was announced as a CB but you could always move him to safety if things don't workout at CB.
ok. i'm late to the party. But, i was freaking out thinking the Texans had drafted a 215 pound defensive tackle. Way to pay attention to detail nfl.com. jeez.
I remember somebody (can't remember the name) being introduced as an offensive tackle (college position) even though he's going to play guard in the NFL. I wouldn't read anything into how he was introduced.
I know this is the homer in me, but I'd love to see the Texans take Danario Alexander (WR) with one of these next two picks. He's 6-5 and an absolute beast... better hands than Jeremy Maclin, even, and a great route-runner. On talent, size and production, he's a first or second rounder hands down. Recurring knee issues have pushed him down... but it's to the point where I think he's more than worth the risk. [/fan]
I am surprised Jonathan Dwyer and Anthony Dixon still haven't been drafted. If there are in the 6th, I wouldn't mind the Texans drafting either. Kurt Coleman is a ball hawking safety from the Ohio State. Greg Hardy was a beast as a sophomore under Ed Orgeron in the SEC. Carlton Mitchell would be a good developmental prospect at WR.
Rex Ryan is such an idiot. I am rooting against him. He just called Antonio Cromartie and Santonio Holmes "good guys". Cromartie has 9 children with 8 women living in five states and Holmes is just a turd for all his troubles.
