What makes you think he wasn't the best player available on the Texans draft board? Don't expect the draft boards of individual teams to line up with whatever mock drafts and rankings you've been looking at.

just my opinion, but i thought we could have picked up a safety here. there are some good ones left on the board.
Thanks for the link. Looks like a work in progress but adds depth, which is what we need on the D-Line. Damn, that kid ran a pretty good 40 as well. Oh, and I am now a Browns fan! :grin:

Something everybody said about the browns 2 years ago. Don't take anything for granted. I will be heartbroken if we don't make the playoffs.
Have you seen the NFC teams we play plus our own conference schedule? 10 win team "easily" is not even what I'm thinking. If we do hit that mark, I'd be overly ecstatic.
