Says here he was a 3/4 in most mocks. http://www.tucsonsentinel.com/sports/report/042210_mitchell_nfldraft/ By the time you get past the top 50 or so, one team's 170 is another team's 80. There's not anywhere close to an exact science.
He's the Shane Carwin of the NFL. He cut massive weight for the weigh in and then adds height and weight for gameday.
i don`t like this pick at all. there were many better picks at this point. pick the best player available.
Seems to be an Okoye clone...I dont know, at some point, we need to get a guy thats 320+ lbs that eats up space, instead of these finesse tackles.
Projections are pretty useless past a certain point. Admittedly the 3rd round is early to start picking relative unknowns but the point remains that after a certain point individual team boards look nothing like most mock drafts. This draft pretty moreso than more years showed how off projections can be. Claussen was projected at top 10 and fell to 48. Tyson Alualu was projected 2nd round and was taken 10th.
Well all the guys most of us wanted were gone...at this point its really up to the scouting and coaches.
