I like John McClain. But it is funny: If you read his blog posts, you can tell he is clearly pissed about being caught by surprise with the Texan's draft action. I think the Texans are obviously using him to spread some good disinformation. lol
He's wrong every year about what the Texans wanted to do. Remember "There is no way the Texans will draft someone other than Vince Young."
Just listened to Tate on 610: "If I can't make them miss, I make them pay" Asked about what his biggest asset is that he is going to bring to the Texans: "My competitive edge" We are really trying to form that fiery, nasty, competitive personality!
That's what we have been missing for a long time. We had Dunta who brought that originally but it was just him. Now slowly we have been adding pieces of the puzzle that have that fire to them and are willing to kick some butt and put it all on the line. You need to have some serious bruisers on our team and we are going in the right direction.
If Slaton can. 1.) Hold onto the football 2.) be somewhat of a threat in the running game again 3.) .....Hold onto the football. Other than that I think it looks good on paper. Hopefully we use Slaton outside, pitch plays and what not. He does much better in space of course.
